This map is a resource for the sector to help visualise and locate:
- Creative Health infrastructure (e.g. buildings where Creative Health activities take place);
- Cross sector partnerships (e.g. public, private and VCSE sector partnerships delivering Creative Health);
- Organisations delivering Creative Health and the practitioners and freelancers associated with these organisations.
London Arts and Health has undertaken some preliminary mapping work in the North East London Integrated Care System (NEL ICS) (October 2023 -January 2024) thanks to funding from the Royal Society of Arts Catalyst Fund, and hope that this map will continue to be populated through crowd-sourcing to unveil the connections and work happening across the four other integrated care systems in London.
During the mapping exercise, we collaborated with people and organisations working across Creative Health to produce case studies which highlight how Creative Health based projects and programmes of work are addressing some of the objectives within the NEL Joint Forward Plan, which describes how the NHS will work with other partners across NEL boroughs to design services and meet the needs of local people. We welcome further contributions of case studies to help emerging practitioners and organisations think about the development, evaluation and funding of a new project.
